Julie Gonzalez began her training at Grand Master Larry Tatum’s school in Pasadena, CA and continued her training at Mr. Rick Jeffcoats’ Pasadena studio being promoted to 1st degree Black Belt in May of 2003. After Moving to AZ in 2005, Julie worked on her kenpo evolution and was promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt in 2012.

Julie holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She has worked in the field of Early Intervention for over 16 years, serving young children and families with special needs.  Julie’s experience includes training in Dr. Stanley Greenspan’s Floortime Approach, Early Intervention Developmental Specialist, IDEA Part C Service Coordinator, Child Development Disabilities Consultant and Program Manager for a First Things First grant funded program.

Julie developed and implemented an Adaptive Martial Arts Program for children with developmental delays and disabilities, starting at age 4, as well as, the Little Champions Class for children ages 4-5.
