I thought about taking Karate for a year prior to entering the Desert Dragon's studio. At that time and currently I had many goals I wanted to fulfill since I retired 4 years ago. My goals were to lose weight, increase my flexibility, physical conditioning, self discipline, self confidence and greater mental agility. After my first week at Desert Dragons, I was hooked! The training culture that prevails at your studio has helped me to begin the journey of meeting my goals while also learning the art of Kenpo Karate. As with any journey it begins with a first step. Now that I have earned my first belt I have added another goal to my list, earn a black belt, one belt at a time! Thank you and that includes a big thank you to the instructors and fellow students all have helped me greatly without reservation.
