Th 5-5:40This class is designed for children 5-9 years of age and includes basic to advanced skills as a student moves through the ranks. Each color card is designed to scaffold off of prior cards and teach students more complex concepts and techniques. Students are taught proper falling techniques, defense techniques, strength/coordination development, and conflict recognition and preparedness. A variety of strategies are taught to students for conflict resolution, which in turn leads to a sense of empowerment and confidence even at a young age. A priority of the class is teaching a student to find their voice as a respectful leader.
